Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of therapy that helps people heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences. It has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma and there is growing evidence for its effectiveness in the treatment of other disorders including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, phobias, addiction and chronic pain.
